We’ve always run our business with a firm dedication to protecting natural resources, and we took this dedication to the next level in 2010 when we adopted the groundbreaking Kreussler SystemK4 dry cleaning setup. The System K4 employs a highly effective, halogen-free solvent called SolvonK4 that’s far greener than the perchloroethylene (a chlorinated hydrocarbon) most dry cleaners have been using. Kreussler Chemical actually selected Gadue’s Dry Cleaning to test SystemK4 before it was unveiled to the world—an experiment we were eager to take part in, and one we’re happy to say worked out splendidly. Today, Gadue’s is greener than ever. We were honored to receive the Vermont Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence for Pollution Prevention in 2011.
