Our laundering work, which begins with tackling any stains that need treatment, is more focused and delicate than you’ll find elsewhere. Typical dry cleaners use excessively hot water (often 160 degrees Fahrenheit) and bleach to treat shirts. This heavy-handedness risks significance shrinkage and damage to fabric fibers.
By contrast, Gadue’s uses Kreussler’s Trebon Plus detergent—specially designed for treating delicate white textiles—and we keep our wash at a moderate 140 degrees without bleach.
Some parts of a dress shirt call for extra special attention. Whenever it’s called for, we attend to cuffs, collars, shirtfronts and backs by hand. You tell us how you want your shirt finished—starched or not, hung or folded. It’ll be crisp and elegant when it’s returned to you.
